How to send a takedown request

Email dmca@igviewer.io with:

• Your name, address, and contact information.
• A description of the copyrighted work involved.
• The exact IGViewer URL where the content is accessible.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on the rights holder’s behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We respond to valid notices within 5 business days. Most actionable requests result in either removing the username from being viewable through IGViewer, or removing a specific link from our index. The original media remains on Instagram itself; that’s outside our control.

Counter-notices

If you believe content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice with the same information format above, plus a statement that you have a good faith belief the removal was a mistake.
